A very happy New Year from all of us here at Off the Ground!

A small Russian town is crying out for a hero. Someone to distract from the seemingly constant cycle of drunk and corrupt politicians and police commissioners who lie and cheat their way to the top. When Ilya, a shell-shocked soldier who can no longer drink, returns from the frontlines at Chechnya, he finds himself stood in the eye of a political tornado, which could tear his hometown to pieces at any moment.

Come and join OTG Youth Theatre’s senior group for this hauntingly hilarious, deeply populist play, inspired by Gogolian comedy, that cuts to the core of small-town bureaucracy, and what it means to please all of the people all of the time.

Performances will be March 9th, 10th and 11th at 7:30pm. Tickets are available here, or on the door on the night.

News of our Monday and Thursday group productions is forthcoming very soon, so keep checking here for updates.
