Jon Hall (Choreographer/YT Tutor)

Jon began his Off the Ground career as a youth theatre member, his first role being Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. After a year out working for the company he acted in his first professional show – Macbeth. He has since appeared in all of OTGs summer tours, his parts including Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), the Clerk of the Court (Swing in the Willows) and Blind Pew (Treasure Island.)

Jon has specialised in physical theatre and stage combat and has worked as a fight and dance choreographer for both the professional company and the youth theatre, as well as many outside agencies. He has also co-directed many of the youth theatre shows including Lord of the Flies, Julius Caesar, Heroes of Troy and Aladdin. He also performs fire-shows, rides BMX, goes free-running and, when he’s had enough of all that, is a UKA premiere cup level ballroom dancer.
