Start at nothing.
What is vital? What is desirable? What can be lost?
What creature is the perfect fit into the modern world?
Last year members of different local youth theatres and schools came together to create a piece for Young . Creature is a new piece which features eight physical performers from that group who have continued to develop the skills they learned last year. It includes some familiar faces from last year’s tour and young people from our youth theatre and YEP (Young Everyman Playhouse). It is directed by Grace Goulding and Dan and will be performed as part of (www.physicalfest.com) , supporting Theatre on 26th May at 8pm at the Unity Theatre. Tickets are expected to sell quickly and are available from http://www.unitytheatreliverpool.co.uk/whats-on/origins.html
Dan and Grace are also working with youth theatres and community groups to encourage the next generation of performers. If you would like a visit to your group then please contact us straight away.
Our Monday group's performance at Theatre's as part of will take place on May 8th. Ticket information will be posted here as soon as it is available. We are also exploring the possibility of a mini-tour for this production, performing it alongside OTG's Thursday group as a double bill to youth theatres across the north west. The production itself is a devised physical theatre piece inviting you to enter their minds as they attempt to answer the weird and wonderful questions that fall out. What is life actually all about? Isn't Donald Trump a really funny name? How will I know if I'm actually happy? What would happen if all my teachers turned into animals? Come and support the fantastically talented future of Off the Ground.
Make a day of it with performances and workshops beginning with our show at midday.
