About the event

Off The Ground theatre group presents this years open air production of William Shakespear's A Midsummer Night's Dream. This comedy portrays the events surrounding the marriage of Theseus, the Duke of Athens, to Hippolyta.

On a Midsummer’s night, four young lovers find themselves lost in deep in the forest where fabulous fairies and troublesome sprites are always looking to cause trouble. An actor gets turned into a donkey, the lovers swap partners and a man dresses up as a woman – a perfect Shakespearian night out!
