The first of many shows this year celebrating Off the Ground Theatre's 30th birthday!
Nell and Oscar meet on a beach in 1595, or is it 1610? Oscar has returned from university and Nell is doing f**k-all, because, well, she can't. They will meet here again, and again, and again, on this beach, over the next four hundred years. Some things will change, as they do with time. Some things won't.
Presented by Off the Ground Theatre, with two recent youth theatre graduates, as a showcase of its current developing talent, this is an exploration of feminism and cultural progress.
Join us at The Hope Street Theatre for this interrogation of gender and privilege, and wilfully ignorant history of English literature!
Did you know? The Hope Street Theatre is a 'BWYL' theatre, that means 'Bring what you like!' Audiences are welcome to bring their own booze, soft drinks and snacks to the venue to enjoy through the performance.
