description -

Off the Ground Theatre return to venues across the north west, Wales and Ireland this summer, for their 30th year of touring theatre, with the quintessential pirate tale, Treasure Island.

Young Jim Hawkins is obsessed with pirates. He idolises them and yearns for adventure at sea. His mother, a former Navy doctor who has dealt with pirates before, is less enamoured with them. When hard times befall the family, they are forced on the adventure of a lifetime in search of Captain Flint’s long lost treasure, in the company of the enigmatic, charming, villainous and influential Long John Silver and his crew. With on eye on how influencer culture can lure in young men, this Treasure Island is not one to miss.

Please note: performances are outside, please dress appropriately. Please bring a chair/blanket/something to sit on. Chairs provided at St. Luke's and Future Yard. Cushions/blankets only at Killruddery and Shakespeare North.

Performance times vary, please check online to avoid disappointment.

Performances will go ahead in most weathers, but may be cancelled in cases of heavy rain or thunder and lightning.
