1001 Arabian Nights
Heswall Hall, Wirral
The Tales of the Arabian Nights have been in circulation since the 9th Century, passed down from generation to generation as campfire stories. The tales are linked together as one long story by the courageous heroine, Shaharazad. Shaharazad the Vizier’s daughter is sent to marry King Sharayar, who for three years has married a new wife each evening only to have her beheaded the following morning. Can Shaharazad save not only herself, but the kingdom of Sassan, with her stories as her only weapon?

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
