SHOW TITLE
Bugsy Malone
YEAR
2006
PERFORMED
The Gladstone Theatre, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
Our youth theatre’s 10th birthday celebrations began with this classic musical.
Fat Sam’s Grand Slam is being threatened by Dandy Dan’s splurge gun wielding mobsters. Only Bugsy and his new found love Blousey, with some help from, amongst others, Cagey Joe, Baby Face and Looney Begonsy, can save Sam and his Saspirilla racket.
With a cast of over fifty (aged 8 -18) this was a pie-flinging, pinstripe-wearing, pint-sized doozy of a show!
“No doubt about it, We’re the very best at being bad guys!”
Play by Alan Parker. Words and music by Paul Williams.
Band - Ollie Taylor, Barney Taylor, Rory Taylor, Calum Taylor, Pauline Larkin and Alex Thomas.
Costume design by Iona Farley.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
