Macbeth (2011)
YEAR
2011
PERFORMED
Heswall Hall, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
Macbeth, having listened to the weird sisters’ prophesy, begins to set in motion a series of events that leads to the death and ruination of his kingdom. In his ambition and desire for power he surrounds himself with the wrong advisors and is persuaded into an act of villainy that snowballs out of control around him. As he tries to justify and appease his own conscience his actions lead to the death of his wife, his best friend and ultimately himself. Is there any way he could have avoided the weird sisters prophecy from becoming a reality or is it simply all written in the stars?

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
