SHOW TITLE
Sunflowers
YEAR
2001
PERFORMED
Pacific Road Theatre, Wirral
DESCRIPTION
"The world can collapse in three hours."
A missing ten thousand pounds. A relationship that died ten years ago. And an undiscovered Van Gogh painting discovered in a South American junk shop.
The play is set at a university fund-raising event where Tom and Felicity and Jeremy and Mel meet for an unforgetable evening. Jeremy doesn't want Tom to send him to prison. Tom wants Felicity. Mel wants everyone's money to buy Sunflowers. And Felicity just wants out.
The first act of Sunflowers was first seen at a rehearsed reading of new plays at the Chester Gateway Theatre. It is an intriguing and passionate depiction of four people's lives and relationships, of love and intense hatred.

What to wear to open air theatre?
The best way to know what to wear to an open air theatre performance is to check on what the weather is doing, but always play it safe. If you can carry a coat in case things turn sour, then we’d always recommend doing so. Beyond that, wear anything you like to an open air theatre performance, though please ensure you wear something!
